Delightfull lighting combines high quality design and craftsmanship

During my second trip to Porto, Portugal last month, I was very pleased and honored to be invited to visit Delightfull headquarters in Rio Tinto, Porto. We connected on social media first and as you know, I have a soft spot for design and lamps, I was really looking forward to meet the people from Delightfull!

Delightfull unique lamps

In my mind it feels like I have known Delightfull for ever. I have seen pictures on Pinterest and the rest of the internet but never knew it was from Delightfull. Maybe I haven’t thought about it that much but when I see their catalogue and all the possibilities there are and the unique lamps they design, it gave me a new look on design and lighting. I wrote about lamps before, check out my blog about the lamps from Dutch designers from V3RS, their lamps made my heart skip a beat.

Delightfull’s mission is to design unique lamps and to focus on combining high quality design with high quality craftmanship.

Delightfull collection

What’s not to like about the very versatile Delightfull collection? From pendant lamps, to floor and table lamps and there are also amazing pieces of furniture for your interior. Check out this colorful graphic collection with a wide selection of iconic fonts. I really like these letters, numbers and symbols lit up by colorful lights that gives your space a vintage look. Oh and meet the Delightfull team! :)

My 5 favorite Delightfull pieces

Ofcourse I have to share my 5 favorite Delightfull pieces with you but it’s difficult as you can imagine because there are so many!! You just have to find out yourself but here is my top 5!

1. Monocles | Sideboard

MONOCLES | SIDEBOARD – This sideboard is a golden eye-catching peace and looks like it came straight out of a James Bond movie. Made in solid walnut wood and brass with knurled details it’s ready to let you make some Martini’s. Shaken not stirred. I like the Roger Moore portrait. Don’t you?

2. Matheny | Suspension

MATHENY | SUSPENSION – The bigger the better. This fabulous lamp fits in a classic interior with modern accents and is perfect for your livingroom or above a dining table. No worries, the Matheny lamp is also available with fewer “layers” and as a floorlamp.

3. A | Graphic Collection

A | GRAPHIC COLLECTION – How can this piece not be my favorite? It’s the letter A ofcourse ;-) Perfect for a deco styled interior or to bring the deco style in your interior. It comes in two different heigths; 100 cm and 39,4 cm. I like the gold with neon look!

4. Pastorius | Wall

PASTORIUS | WALL – I can’t complete my top 5 Delightfull pieces without sharing a lamp for your bedroom. This lamp is pure vintage and made in brass with an aluminium lampshade and highly functional with the extendable arm so you can adjust the lamp the way you like it to read a book for example. Totally lovable!

5. Diana | Floor

DIANA | FLOOR – Think big with the Diana XL floor lamp and I think Delightfull is right! Wow! This lamp is huge! 2,3 meters tall and weighs around 45 kg. Pfew. Unfortunately I live in a 50m2 appartment so this very creative and unique floor lamp doesn’t fit where I live but if you have a loft or a big office then this happy lamp is totally your match!

It was really nice to meet the Delightfull team during my stay in Porto. A group very creative young people who have a great passion for their brand, products and what they do. I wrote in my introduction that I connected with Delightfull on social media and you know what? I am so very happy, enthousiastic and a little bit proud that Delightfull is using social media the way I want every company or brand should use social media.

Social Media is a great way to connect with your fans and (potential) clients and Delightfull is doing it! They are using it the right way and don’t let me start giving compliments about their website and how they interact and use social media when they are exhibitor at a big fair like imm cologne or maison et objet ;-)
